Jillian R. Cavellier
Introducing Jillian R. Cavellier
Geoscience PhD Student at the University of Kentucky
About Me.
My name is Jillian Cavellier.

I grew up in a small town in northern New York (about 30 minutes from the Canadian Border) and moved myself (and my dog) to central Kentucky to pursue graduate degrees in Geoscience at the University of Kentucky. I recently finished my Masters degree at Kentucky in the field of Cement Mineralogy where I was able to take my mineralogy and petrology skills from the geosciences and apply them into a civil engineering/materials science space. As of Fall 2024, I have begun my doctoral degree studies which are focused in the Southern Appalachian Mountains.
